When you search for products on furniture-search.uk, we show you a selection of different items in the result lists (product search) and, on the product detail pages, offers from various retailers for the same product (price comparison).
On the product detail page, you’ll find a price comparison for a specific item. Here we list offers from different retailers.
If prices are identical, the offer with the higher remuneration is given priority. As this does not disadvantage the user, we consider this approach justified.
a) Search using a general term
If you enter a general search term, the results depend heavily on the wording used. The ranking is based on relevance to the search term and on the popularity of the products among our users.
b) Search for a specific product
If you search using an exact product name, we display the matching product directly.
When you click on a product, you are automatically redirected to the retailer offering the lowest single price. Via the “Details” button, you can access the product detail page with the price comparison (see section 1).
When you browse our categories, you’ll see products that we have previously assigned to those categories. The ranking within a category is primarily based on:
In addition, product availability and remuneration from our partners (commissions) are taken into account.
Here as well, clicking on a product automatically redirects you to the retailer with the lowest single price. Using the “Details” button, you can access the price comparison (see section 1).
You can also customize the sorting using various filters and settings. The order described above applies only to the default sorting.
